England's pubs have reopened - or at least some have - without the wild scenes of drunken revelry feared, indeed predicted, in certain quarters. It is early days, there will be teething problems. But publicans and their teams are working very hard under the Covid-19 reguations to make this succeed and to ensure the safety, comfort and enjoyment of their customers.
